Baking has always been my passion. My journey began when I was about seven years old, when I got hooked on baking shows like Nailed It, Sugar Rush, and Zumbo’s Just Desserts. I loved watching the bakers create beautiful cakes and desserts, and I dreamed of someday competing on one of those shows myself.

At home in our kitchen, I practiced different recipes every chance I got and imagined what it would be like to become a baker one day.

This past summer, I decided I wanted to bake every single day. I practiced new recipes, experimented with flavors, and started dreaming about launching my own baking business.

After the devastating Texas floods, I wanted to help the people who were affected. I decided to sell cookies and donate the proceeds to Mercy Chefs, a disaster-relief organization that was on the ground serving restaurant-quality meals to victims, first responders, and volunteers. With the support of our amazing Houston community, together we raised $5,000 for flood relief.

That experience showed me that something I love — baking — can also be a way to help others. That’s how Baked by Esme began.

Today, Baked by Esme is all about small-batch gourmet cookies, made with premium ingredients, distinctive flavors, and a commitment to giving back. Thank you to everyone who has supported my baking journey and believed in this little dream.
